With a swinging strike on a Papelbon pitch the Rockies took their last swing of the season. The Red Sox dominated in all four games against the Rockies. In game four the Red Sox won the World Series title on a 4-3 win over the Rockies.

After waiting 86 years for a World Series win the Red Sox have now won two championships in the last four years. Congratulations!
